SIA Condemns Lawlessness in Washington

WASHINGTON—Jan. 6, 2021—The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) released the following statement today from president and CEO John Neuffer in response to today’s violence in Washington, D.C. 

“We condemn the unthinkable chaos and lawlessness in our nation’s capital today and strongly support Congress’ decision to swiftly and safely resume the constitutionally mandated process for affirming the presidential election results. The peaceful transfer of power is the bedrock of our democracy and is essential to America’s ability to overcome the significant, unprecedented challenges facing our country.”
